Welcome

Welcome back! This is a new school year with chances for new opportunities, new friends to make, and new things to learn. We hope you and your child are excited about the opportunities that await you here at Nashville Elementary!

Following are three core beliefs that I believe drive what we do here at Nashville, and throughout the West Holmes district.

Nashville Elementary is a fun place to learn every day. Our K-2 students have a great opportunity to grow academically and socially.

The staff is dedicated to help all students become the best leaders and learners they can be.

Educating our children is a community effort. When we all do our part, we will see great things happen.

Nashville will continue to use the PAX Good Behavior Game as our PBIS program, designed to help all students be responsible for their own behaviors and their own learning. PAX stands for peace, productivity, and happiness. When students are able to learn how to be responsible for their own actions and want to ensure that they themselves and those around them have a safe place to learn, then we experience, peace, productivity, and happiness.

Communication is an important part of any relationship. We want to maintain communication with parents as much as we can. Classtag Connect is an online messaging system that we are using for classroom teachers and the school office to communicate with parents. Messages will come from your child’s teacher, and from the school office. Please make sure you look at these as you see them come across your phone or email.
